LA Marks
Lisa Ann “LAMARKS” Markuson is the founder and Chief Poetic Officer of Ars Poetica. She uses words to create a radical shift to a more feminist, inclusive, and sustainable world. When not writing poems or sculpting experiences, LA Marks enjoys exploring new realms with her wizard fiancé (who just happens to be the head curator of the Person is Asleep project).
Josh Millrod
Josh Millrod is a creative arts therapist and experimental musician. In his private practice, he combines talk therapy and music therapy to help clients explore and strengthen a connection to their fullest potential. His sessions create a supportive, nonjudgemental space dedicated to self-exploration and growth. As a musician, Millrod has performed and recorded with the Brooklyn noise group Grasshopper and played many shows, in many grimy basements.
Kevin Pelrine
Kevin Pelrine is an ambient musician, tarot reader, and UX designer. He founded the late, great Bushwick occult venue, Tarot Society, where he read cards for countless clients and played ambient jams for numerous events. Kevin lives in Brooklyn with his partner, 2 cats, and lots of plants. He enjoys hot yoga, cool climates, ambient music, podcasts, and reading.
Please No Radio
Please No Radio is an experimental music project consisting of Heather Elle (BODEGA, The Wants) and Landon Webb. Heather and Landon dwell in Bushwick. They are currently working on an LP about their 2018 trip to Death Valley to-be-released February 2021.
Ari Freeman
Ari Freeman is the Deputy Wizard of New Zealand and a prolific musician. Residing in Christchurch, Ari is an active participant and organizer in the local music community, where he teaches and performs in multiple groups, including psychedelic funk band Rhomboid; “one-man-band” The Blues Professor; and his new band, Fools Know More. He is currently writing a book on the art and practice of pragmatic magical thinking.
Cookie Tongue
Cookie Tongue is the work of Omer Gal, an Israeli born, international artist and musician, currently living in Brooklyn, whose work has been shown extensively in New York, San Francisco, LA, Tel Aviv, Toronto, Rome, Russia, Italy, Brazil, UK and Finland. The theatrical musical project “Cookie Tongue” started in 2011, and has performed in front of audiences worldwide and released 3 studio albums.
MAKS
MAKS (Musically Advanced Kinetic Systems) is an ongoing multimedia performance project by artist and musician Maxwell Abeles. Utilizing an alchemical combination of the arts and sciences, MAKS has performed throughout New York City and beyond. Lowercase gods and goddesses FTW!
